FLOWERSHOWER OF AUGUST 15TH WILL BE EARLIER
NEW DROPPING TIME IS 17:30 CET

News: summer 2008: Coming up, part1.:

- 15th of august 2008, Rotterdam, Opening of the flying grass carpet with
a flower shower of colorful chrysanthemums from an helicopter.
17:30 CET Rotterdam, schouwburgplein.

The picking of the flowers for this project has started. in total
Blossum will pick and drop about 90.000 chrysanthium.

August 2nd, Lovelandfestival, flower shower
At this beautiful festival in the City of Amsterdam, blossum
dropped 100.000 anemones at the beginning of the set of
Junky XL: instant happiness for thousand of people

August 2nd, Lovelandfestival, dahlia necklaces
Besides the flowershower blossum also got into making
dahlia necklaces at het lovelandfestial. With a little bit of
help everybody could be creative and show off.

May 2008: opening of Station Klarendal in Arnhem
With 10 throwers and 15 flowerrain-kits Blossum opened
Station Klarendal. A center for haute culture and fabric
design in Arnhem. A picture of the flowerrain was put on
the front-page of the local newspaper De Gelderlander.

November 2007: Blossum in Tokyo!
Wiliam Willems did a very successful Pecha Kucha presentation for a
audience of 2000 people at the Tokyo Design Week. Blossum was one of
the 30 presentations from around the globe that was chosen for the
Pecha Kucha celebration book. Before the presentation in Japan
similar Blossum presentations were shown at the Westergasfabriek in
Amsterdam and at the Boijmans van Beuningen Museum in

October 2007: rose petals on dam square, Amsterdam
For the first time Blossum created a flower shower of only rose petals from
a Twinstar helicopter. Although most people expected that the petals
would be scattered all over centre of Amsterdam most of them just
landed on the dam square, just where we wanted them. It was a pure
poetry! This flower shower was part of an art project of Mexx. This
brand opened a new flag store.

September 2007: necklaces of dahlia's in Rotterdam
Blossum made an new installation in which the audience of the Witte
de With festival in Rotterdam were invited to make necklaces of
dahlia's, about 500 people participated in this project.
